“Children's Miracle Network comes to Beaumont Children's Hospital to provide more than $3-million in funding every year," said Tom McGannon, Associate Vice President of Development for the Beaumont Foundation, according to wxyz.com. "We have 50,000 kids that we help directly every year."

More than $2.5 million was raised last year. Affiliates with Beaumont will also be visiting local restaurants and providing more information about the cause, officials said.

"I'm here to show my support for the Miracle Network," said Constance Sears. She visited the Royal Oak restaurant this morning and noted the number of donations for the cause is overwhelming. More than 3100 donations had been given by 11:00 a.m.
