Viewfinder: Lions and Tigers and Beers

Thursday was a picture perfect night for wild animals and cold beer at the Zoo Brew.

The sold out the inaugural Zoo Brew on Thursday with attendees enjoying twilight strolls through the park with their favorite brew in hand.

The zoo sold 1,075 tickets to the event and showed off its new Events Pavilion featuring beer from more than 30 Michigan craft breweries and live music by blues-rock band the Howling Diablos.

Andrea Schick of Clinton Township enjoyed the warm fall night with friends. “It’s awesome,” she said. “We’ll definitely come back if they do this again next year.”
