Yogurt City Coming Soon to Downtown Royal Oak

You'll pay by the ounce at Yogurt City on Main Street

Six locations of Yogurt City are opening in Michigan this year, including one at 122 S. Main. The soft-serve frozen yogurt shop will soon open next to the Nutri-Food store.

Yogurt City has dozens of flavors in its lineup, such as carrot cake, pistachio and York chocolate peppermint, and includes low fat and non-fat options. Everything is self-serve.

There are approximately 100 calories per a half cup (4 oz.) for most flavors and customers pay $0.48 per ounce.

It joins, Sweet Earth, which opened in downtown last year, in the competitive "fro-yo" market.
