Dream Cruisers Already Clogging Woodward Avenue in Royal Oak

One day is not enough for Woodward Dream Cruise fans.
Vintage automobiles mixed with flashy sports coupes and everyday vehicles have been on the road this week as spectators flank Woodward Avenue in Royal Oak ahead of the classic car parade Saturday, Aug. 17.
The historic roadway has been clogged with pre-Dream Cruise action and the Northwood Shopping Center parking lot at Woodward and 13 Mile Road especially packed with classic cars and tire kickers.
The Dream Cruise is expected to attract more than 1 million people Saturday to the 16-mile stretch of Woodward from Ferndale to Pontiac.
