There's always a lot going on in Royal Oak. Here are some highlights this week:

  1. City Commission meets Monday: The commission meeting starts at 7:30 p.m. at . Click here for the agenda.
  2. on Monday: Experience fine art by flashlight in downtown Royal Oak. Take a tour of six high-quality reproductions of art pieces from the . The tour begins at the at 9 p.m. Wear your walking shoes and bring a flashlight.
  3. on Wednesday: The will host a Classic Car Show from noon to 8 p.m. in the parking lot behind the museum at 1411 W Webster. A variety of refreshments will be served.
  4. on Thursday: Get ready to lace up your sneakers for the Third Annual Alumni Run. All are welcome, but ROHS Coaches Ryan Piippo and Dave Barnett especially look forward to seeing past runners from Royal Oak High, Dondero, and Kimball. The flat 2 mile cross country fun run will start at 7 p.m. at  with refreshments afterward for alums to share stories of past glory days. The event is free, but donations to the ROHS cross country programs will be accepted.
  5. on Saturday: It’s time for the world's largest one-day automotive event to hit the streets of Royal Oak. Enjoy thousands of classic cars, including custom, nostalgic, hot rods and collector cars, as they cruise the lanes of Woodward.
