5 Things to Know This Week: City Commission Meets, Restaurant Week and More

There's a lot going on in Royal Oak this week. What do you have planned?

It's a busy week in Royal Oak, as usual. Here are five things you should know as you go about your week:

  1. City Commission meets Monday: The City Commission meeting starts at 7:30 p.m. at City Hall. Click here for the agenda.
  2. Royal Oak Restaurant Week: Enjoy more than 20 diverse and delicious destinations offering three-course lunch and dinner menus at $15, $25, and $35 through Mar. 9.   3. Nature Society Lecture on Wednesday: "Tenhave Woods Through a Camera Lens” begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Royal Oak Middle School. Enjoy an evening exploring this wonderful woods from photographer Mary Fredricks' unique perspective as she shares some of her favorite moments and discoveries.
  4. The List Event on Friday: Join The Van House Foundation at the Reserve in Birmingham at 9 p.m. to delve into what Alzheimer’s disease really means to those whom it affects. Tickets are $15 at www.thevanhousefoundation.orgClick here for more information.
