Woodward Royal Oak Tribute Fundraiser on Thursday: in downtown Royal Oak and help raise money for the —a solar-powered glass and concrete sculpture and interpretive public art piece celebrating the story of Woodward. The 30-foot sculpture will be installed this summer at Woodward and 13 Mile Road. Tickets for this event are available at woodwardroyaloaktribute.eventbrite.com.
  5. Adopt-A-Park on Saturday and Sunday: The city is looking for volunteer groups to adopt a park for a day and clean up any debris and leaves they can find. Call the at 248-246-3300 by Thursday  to register your group for one of the city's 50 parks.
