Royal Oak Patch readers are positively glowing about this year's downtown holiday lights.

Residents are glowing

This year residents seem to think the DDA, which installs the lights, got it right. Here’s what people are saying about photos of the downtown holiday lights on Facebook:

  • Kim Pisa Jacobs: LOVE, LOVE, LOVE downtown RO during the holiday – so beautiful!
  • Brenda McVicar: Magically beautiful.
  • Kristine Crook: It's beautiful but the city had it up before Halloween. That is way too early.
  • Shannon Nichols: Makes me miss home!
  • Joan Van Poperin Atkinson: I was there last week...very pretty.
  • Andy Hill:  I love this town.
  • Dano Harmon: Would like to take a walk through there. It’ll help me get in the Christmas sprit.
  • Mary Hickman Kruszewski: They did such a great job this year decorating downtown. And did you see Pizzeria Biga? Wow!
  • Dick Webb: My kind of town.
