Why this car? I have always wanted an Austin-Healey, but they are so expensive. I consider this the poor man's Austin-Healey. My husband, Brian, and I love that the back seat is just big enough to fit Jake and Mason, our two Lab-mix rescue dogs. We are so lucky they let us drive their car.

What’s special about Woodward and/or the Dream Cruise for you? I am not a big car person, but I just love that for one week a year, people from all over the state, the nation, even the world, come to my little piece of the planet. I love the activity, the noise and all the festivities.

My husband loves the Cruise and cars so much, he volunteers for the Royal Oak Police Department just so he can sit in the median and watch the cars go by.
