Hunger Banquet, Church Services, Egg Hunts and More This Week in Royal Oak

Here are five things going on in Royal Oak this week. What do you have planned?

It's a busy week in Royal Oak, as usual. Here are five things you should know as you go about your week:

  1. Hunger Banquet for Oxfam America on Wednesday:  This evening, presented by Interact of Royal Oak, is designed to simulate global food distribution and foster discussion and awareness about hunger issues locally and abroad.  Participants should arrive hungry, but be prepared that they may also leave that way. Thanks to donations from Lily’s Seafood, Jimmie John’s, and other local eateries, 100 percent of ticket sales will go to Oxfam America’s food security programs. Tickets may be purchased at the door:  $10 for adults; $5 for students.  The event will be held at Berkley’s Greenfield Presbyterian Church, Greenfield and 12 Mile Rd., at 6 p.m. Read more.
