Caution is urged on roads as Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 11 a.m.

Sorry kids, no snow day for you today as just 2 inches of snow fell overnight, making the morning trip to school and work a little messy but doable.

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 11 a.m. with more snow to come in that time with wind gusts up to 30 mph. According to the National Weather Service, the bulk of the 2-5 inches originally predicted to fall early Friday morning is hitting Monroe and Lenawee counties.

Snowfall is expected to continue Saturday with an inch or so of the white stuff expected. The weather service says we're likely to get rain Sunday night and into Monday, making for some sloppy streets.
