Michael Greening Pre-Trial Hearing Delayed

Hearing for former Royal Oak High School principal charged with embezzlement has been rescheduled.

A pre-trial hearing scheduled for Tuesday morning for former Royal Oak High School Principal Michael Greening on two felony embezzlement charges  has been postponed two weeks.

The new date for Greening to appear in Oakland County Circuit Court in Pontiac is 10:30 a.m on Nov. 27. There is no record for why the date was moved.

The last time Greening was in court on Oct. 23 his defense attorney, Paul Stablein, told Judge Shalina Kumar he has been in discussions with Oakland County Assistant Prosecutor Robert Novy. He said the two were close to a "resolution to the matter."
