Oak Apple Run Results: Top Royal Oak Finishers

10K results

Matt Fecht, 29, of Warren (32:34) and Danielle Savard, 26, of Rochester Hills (39:54) led the men and women's fields in the Oak Apple Run 10K event.

Among the 164 finishers from Royal Oak receiving medals in the 10K event were Joe Schramski, 29, (36:49) who finished sixth overall, and Rebecca Sawicki Gade, 28, who finished fourth in the women's field with a time of 44:06.

5K results

Of the 356 finishers receiving medals in the 5K event, 146 were Royal Oak runners and walkers. 

Jack Halpin, 15, of Birmingham (17:44) was the winner of the 5K event followed by Royal Oak High School's Justin Davenport, 17, finishing in second place with a time of 18:14. Kayla Lalik, a 17-year-old from Sterling Heights, led the women with a time of 19:45 followed by Royal Oak resident Dana Jones, 30, with a time of 22:08.

2 Mile Fun Run/Walk results

Nathan Fox, 30, of Macomb (11:35) and Monica Price, 34, of Walled Lake (12:57) led the men and women's fields in the 2 Mile Fun Run/Walk.

More than half of the 448 finishers receiving medals in the fun run/walk were from Royal Oak, including Capt. America, 51, who finished seventh overall with a time of 13:18.

Lauren McMahon (13:58), 16, of Royal Oak finished third in the 2 Mile women's overall field.

Judge Derek Meinecke, 37, of Royal Oak's 44th District Court, finished first it the Men's 35-29 group with a time of 16:20.
