Pet of the Week: Ashley is all About Love

This unique-looking cat adores human affection, but isn't so fond of other felines; find her and other adoptable pets at the Royal Oak Animal Shelter.

If your family is looking for a young and affectionate cat, take a gander at Ashley.

Ashley is easy to please and loves chin scratches. She's happiest when someone is petting her, but isn’t pushy about getting attention.

Ashley is a young gal, about 2 years old. Though she is still youthful, she doesn’t care much for playtime. She would rather spend time hanging out next to a human companion. Shelter staffers said that Ashley will likely be a lap cat.

Though Ashley enjoys human companionship, she isn’t very friendly with other cats. Staffers recommend a home without other felines. She hasn’t spent much time around dogs, so shelter staffers are unsure how she feels about them.

Ashley is housebroken, up to date on her shots and fixed.
