What You Need to Know About the Royal Oak Memorial Day Parade

The theme of this uniquely Royal Oak event is "A Time to Honor our Korean & Vietnam Veterans"

There is plenty to do in Royal Oak on Memorial Day and great weather - mostly sunny with with a high near 70 - to do it in.

Pancake breakfast

Start your day at the Pancake Breakfast at the Royal Oak Farmers Market from 7 a.m.-noon, sponsored by the Royal Oak Historical Society. The all-you-can-eat-breakfast is $6.00 per person – children under 10 eat for $3.00.

Parade down Main Street

After breakfast, head over to the day's main event, the annual Memorial Day parade, which begins at 9 a.m. Monday. The parade starts at South Main Street and Harrison, heading north to Second Street, then east to the Veteran's Memorial between City Hall and the library.
