What's Closed for Memorial Day in Royal Oak
City offices, banks and library are among the holiday service changes.
Many businesses and city offices will be closed for the Memorial Day holiday. Here's what to know:
What's closed
- City of Royal Oak offices and 44th District Court will be closed Monday.
- Royal Oak post office is open regular hours Saturday 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. and closed Sunday and Monday. There will be no mail delivery Monday.
- The Royal Oak Public Library will be closed Saturday-Monday. But you can still return books and other borrowed media at the drop boxes near the south entrance and at the curb on 11 Mile Road.
- Most banks will be closed Monday. Call ahead if you are planning a visit.
- Royal Oak schools - public and private – will be closed.
- There will be no mail delivery on Monday.
- Royal Oak garbage pickup will be delayed one day.
