-County Commissioner Gary McGillivray
-City Commissioner Kyle DuBuc
-City Commissioner Carlo Ginotti
-City Commissioner Mike Fournier
-City Commissioner Jim Rasor
-Former City Commissioner Marie Donigan
-Former City Commissioner Tom Hallock
-Former City Commissioner Gary Lelito
-Former City Commissioner Dave Richards

Said Mayor Jim Ellison: “Jeremy has consistently shown his dedication to the City of Royal Oak over the years.  He is an active member of the community, donating his time and efforts to a number of volunteer causes in the city.  His continued desire to serve the community and his significant civic involvement is admirable.   When elected, I know that Jeremy will be an effective advocate for the residents of Royal Oak.  I was pleased to appoint him to serve on the Planning Commission and I strongly support his candidacy for City Commissioner.”

"I am grateful for the support of so many community leaders in Royal Oak,” said Mahrle.  “Democrats and Republicans alike, these leaders agree that I will be a Commissioner who will constantly work to bring people together and build consensus.  I believe that the only way to be a successful elected official is to listen to those of all viewpoints, including those that differ from my own.  These endorsements speak to my desire to represent ALL of Royal Oak’s residents.

“Royal Oak is a wonderful city with thriving neighborhoods and a vibrant Downtown.  Our location on the Woodward Corridor makes Royal Oak a hub of activity for Southeast Oakland County and the entire Metro Detroit region.  We are an attractive destination for entertainment and, increasingly, new and young families are moving to our city.  I will work to keep our neighborhoods safe and strong in order to continue attracting these families and to keep those already living here in the community.

“In order to keep moving Royal Oak forward, I believe that we need to diversify and responsibly grow our downtown to make it more family-friendly, particularly by adding more office, retail and affordable living space.  I am determined to do everything I can to have our city continue to provide excellent public services for our residents and to protect the unique community assets that have made Royal Oak such a great place to live.  With the support of these community leaders, I hope to have the opportunity to do just that.”

Jeremy Mahrle was born and raised in Royal Oak.  He attended Royal Oak Schools, graduating from Dondero High School before attending Oakland University.  He is an Outreach Coordinator and veterans/military constituent caseworker for Congressman Sander Levin.  He currently serves on the Royal Oak Planning Commission.  He is a member of the Royal Oak Chamber of Commerce, the Woodward Avenue Action Association and the Royal Oak Inter-Club Council and is an elected Precinct Delegate in Royal Oak Precinct 24.  He also serves on the boards of many local Youth Assistance groups and is active with Community Anti-Drug Coalitions in the area.
