The Shades of Pink Foundation, a
501c3 public charity, was founded in 2005 by Suzanne Krueger and Dr. Pamela R.
Benitez, a breast surgeon at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak and Vice
President and Medical Director of the Foundation.  Since
its inception, the Shades of Pink Foundation has assisted hundreds of women and
their families by helping to ease the financial difficulties they face after a
breast cancer diagnosis. The foundation is volunteer-driven and helps women
living in Southeast Michigan.

“Whether it’s helping with a
mortgage payment, the grocery bills, transportation or a COBRA payment, Shades
of Pink Foundation is committed to easing the financial burden of a breast cancer
diagnosis and has never turned down a woman with a reasonable request,” said
Benitez.

About Shades of Pink Foundation

Founded in 2005, the mission of
the Shades of Pink Foundation is to provide temporary financial assistance to
women who are experiencing financial distress as a result of a breast cancer
diagnosis. Since its inception, the Shades of Pink Foundation has
provided financial support to many women by assisting them in paying utility
bills, rent, mortgage payments, COBRA payments, daycare costs, transportation
costs, and other bills. We are proud of our achievements to give back to our
community in a real tangible way, paying these bills directly thus relieving a
woman of that burden and allowing her to move forward with her cancer treatment
with one worry taken away. For more information, visit www.shadesofpinkfoundation.org
