Fall into Healthy Habits

Beaumont occupational, physical and rehabilitation specialists will offer demonstrations and presentations to showcase the benefits of a healthy and active lifestyle on Thursday, Oct. 24 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Beaumont Health Center, 4949 Coolidge Highway, in Royal Oak.



Beaumont specialists will offer blood pressure and fall prevention screenings; provide education and information; and present topics on healthy living, including:





  • Yoga and tai chi


  • Pilates


  • Pelvic floor dysfunction for pain and incontinence for both women and men


  • Posture/ body mechanics


  • Nutrition


  • Lymphedema/ cancer survivorship exercise program


  • Heart health


  • Hors d’oeuvres and refreshments will be provided.

    Cost is $5. All registration fees will benefit Beaumont’s Sharing & Caring Program in recognition of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.



    All participants will be entered in a raffle offering healthy products from the Beaumont Weight Control Center, a therapeutic massage and gift baskets.
