Sing in the Season with the Birmingham Village Players

Sing in the Season with the Village Players of Birmingham. The venerable community theater group invites you to join them on Sunday, December 22 for an afternoon of holiday merriment featuring the Twelfth Night Singers, the Village Youth Singers,audience caroling, festive foods, and craft and gift tables.  Metro Detroit’s Twelfth Night Singers, dressed in dazzling Renaissance attire, will perform a wide range of Christmas music from carols to wassails to Bach to Bacharach.  Fresh off their performance of the heartwarming show, Annie, Village Youth singers will regale with a number of family favorites. The audience, too, will have the opportunity to lend theirvoices to several holiday classics.

In addition to the singing and serenading, the Village Playhouse lobby will feature gifts and crafts for sale and some light holiday refreshment.

The festive music event will be held at the playhouse of the Village Players, 34660 Woodward Avenue, Birmingham. Doors open at noon for holiday shopping at the gift and craft table and the singing begins at 3:00 p.m. Tickets for the musical performance are $15 for adults and $10 for children (18 and under) and are available on the website www.birminghamvillageplayers.com or by calling the box office at 248-644-2075. Admission to the shopping in the theatre lobby is free.
