Summer fun in the sun is always better with a cold
brew! But what suds should you sip when
there are so many different beers to choose from? To help resolve this dilemma, Metro Times and Ultimate Fun Productions will host ‘Summer Session’ Beer
Fest on Saturday, August 2nd at the Royal Oak Farmers Market. Beer lovers will be able to sample an array
of libations, including summer seasonals, ciders, newly released craft beers
and more from over 60 breweries. The event will be an amazing experience in
taste and sound including hot live music, games, and food to compliment over
125 cool brews, 12 wines and select spirits.
Summer
Sessions Beer Fest is the promotion of craft beers and the brewers that create
them, and breweries from around the world, across the state and down the street
will showcase their unique libations. This event is the perfect opportunity for
beer aficionados to discover and taste new brews and special "limited
release" beers and ales, and to meet company representatives and brewers
responsible for some of their favorite brews.
The event runs from 7:30-11:00pm on Saturday, August 2nd, with a limited-quantity VIP session beginning at 6:30pm.
General Session tickets are $45 and include tasting cup, 15 3-oz
serving tabs per session, and program guide.
Additional servings and food will be available for purchase. “Designated Driver” tickets are available for
$10 and must accompany a paid attendee.

The limited quantity VIP session for $65 includes entry at 6:30 (one hour before general
admission), 20 3-oz serving tabs and first access to brand new brews and summer seasonals.
Attendees
will be entertained with live music and a variety of vendors, and
are welcome to participate in a variety of games, including Hammer-Schlagen,
Cornhole, and Adult-Size Jenga. Delicious food offerings will be offered for purchase.
