Royal Oak Woman's Club Installation Banquet

Pleasant StreetRoyal Oak, MI 48067-2442www.rowc.org     On Wednesday, May 16, at 11:30 am, the Royal Oak Woman's Club will enjoy a buffet luncheon at the Red Run Golf Club, followed by the Installation of Officers for the year 2012-2013 at Red Run Golf Club.          The Installation will be conducted by former President, Ruth Stoel. The new officers will be:  President, Mary Ann Carmichael; 1st Vice President, Jeanne Sarnacki; 2nd Vice President, Emily Petrovski; Recording Secretary,  Joyce Kemp; Corresponding Secretary, Ilene Lanfear; Financial Secretary, Lisa Breuer; Treasurer, Janice Watkins; Directors, Barb Hayes, Connie Rasa, Mary Lou Johnstone, Jennifer Becker. The Royal Oak Woman's Club is a service organization which supports many local charities and provides scholarships to Royal Oak high school seniors pursuing an education in the medical field.  Since 1907 it has been a member of the General Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC), which is a unifying force bringing together local women's clubs with members dedicated to strengthening their communities and enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service.  With 100,000 members in affiliated clubs in every state and more than a dozen countries, GFWC members are community leaders who work locally to create global change by supporting the arts, preserving natural resources, advancing education, promoting healthy life styles, encouraging civic involvement, and working toward world peace and understanding.  Membership is open to all women regardless of residency.  Contact Emily at 248-762-6465 for additional information.
