Community Corner

Scouting for Food

Scouting For Food is the single greatest community impact service project Scouting has in Southeast Michigan. Without Scouting For Food, thousands upon thousands of people - kids and adults - will go to be bed hungry. From the 1st grade Tiger Cub, to the 17 year old Eagle Scout, from the younger sibling to the parents and grandparents, from your friends to your leaders, we all need to work together to help each other. That's what Scouting For Food is about - helping each other and helping your neighbor.

Scouts have distributed bags door to door the week leading up to the collection event.  Please fill your bag with non-perishable food donations and set the bag on your porch early morning, Saturday Nov. 12.  Scouts will be collecting the bags.  If each of us can do our part to help, it will be a happier holiday season for those in need.
