St. Paul's Methodist Childrens Choir will be singing, the Ninth Kentucky Infantry will be doing the rifle salute, Royal Oak Police Department Honor Guard will lead the march to the monument, members of the VFW Acorn Post 1669, American Legion, Frank Wendland Post, Royal Canadian Legion, Eagles, Elks, Royal Oak police and fire departments, Daughters of American Revolution, Three Flags & Ezra Parker Chapters, Memorial Society and the city of Royal Oak, will present wreaths. students will play Taps.
At the end of the service, a photo will be taken of all veterans present standing on the monument.
