More than a dozen dancers formed a flash mob at the Saturday evening and broke into a routine to help promote National Dance Week.
The flash mob was the creation of Alicia Smith Dance and was designed to get kids moving their feet.
"We want people to know that dancing is healthy," said Alicia Smith. Smith along with Rita Molsey, Rosalind Leath and Yolanda Albergottie will run workshops Sunday from 11:15 through 5:30 p.m.
The classes are for all ages, skill levels, and dance styles—from hip hop to liturgical praise to zumba and more.
