Spooky Fun for Everyone
Have a frightenly good time at the Y this Halloween. Visit the Y's haunted house and enjoy trick or treating and ghoulish games.When: Oct. 25 6-8 p.m.

Funtastic Halloween
Come to the library for a merry, not scary, time of Halloween games, crafts, and activities. Wear your Halloween costume (or come as you are). Drop in anytime during the festivities, but make sure to allow enough time to circulate around the various activities. Fun for the whole family! No registration necessary.When: Oct. 26 noon to 2 p.m.

Spookactular
Downtown Royal Oak presents the 30th Annual Spooktacular event for the whole family. Parents are invited to bring their children in their Halloween costumes for trick-or-treating. Over 60 businesses will be offering candy and goodies to trick-or-treaters.

Creepy, Crawly Creatures
Dan Briere of the Little Creatures Company will bring some of his live animal friends, including spiders, bugs, snakes, and frogs, that have the reputation of being scary and creepy. See them up close and find out if they live up to their reputations.

Zoo Boo
The Detroit Zoo’s annual “merry-not-scary” Zoo Boo celebration returns this Halloween season, featuring a festively decorated half-mile trick-or-treat trail through the front of the Zoo.

Price: Tickets are $8 per person ages 2 and up.
