Christmas is officially over, and if you had a real tree this year, you may be scratching your head wondering what to do with it now.

"Put to the curb by 7 a.m. and remove all decorations, lights, stands and plastic bags or the tree will be left," reads the City's website. Note: Refuse collection is delayed one day following Christmas Day and New Year's Day.

After Jan. 17, trees will be picked up with regular refuse.

Extended collection dates are available at Independence Oaks in Clarkston and Orion Oaks in Orion Township, which will accept Christmas trees until Feb. 3, 2014.
