A Magnificent Morning with The Lord.

November 14, 2013. A magnificent morning in Royal Oak Michigan. This morning the blue sky with stripes of whites and pinks held over our forest behind the High School. Most of the trees in the neighbor have the leaves gone now and the leaves are dancing in the street. Looking down Crooks Road a rich dark tree stands alone revealing what appears to be roots from heaven to a signaler (definition: An indicator, such as a gesture or colored light, that serves as a means of communication. See Synonyms at gesture.  Questioned the spelling no that will work too :)) point and I could not help to think about who got us all here. That we are from God that he has been here trying to feed each branch each relative and to stay with Him and here we are. Our mass in where we came from on earth our humans roots reaching back, back and even further back in to the earth. In one gospels it speaks of who Jesus descended from the house of...all the way to Adam. 
God created Man and said it was good. Would it not be interesting if above each prison a sign hung that said, God created Man and said it was good or every hospital ward or every nursery. A Prisoner is already in prison before he or she arrives. The fall has occurred and to be free one needs God. One needs to trust outside of oneself in the one that knocks. Truth does not lie. Our God is Truth. Even if one does not know God is their God, He is and I am not taking Him away from anyone. Maybe they should hang that on the sign to. 
Jesus died with two thieves one on each side to the one that used his words to defend Him and asked for mercy by asking God to remember him, Jesus said to him, today you will be with me in paradise. Interesting to think God was welcoming home and celebrating with a repented sinner the day he died and how he came for sinners and there is no one that is not a sinner, except three began this way the first husband and wife and Mary. Mary kept the Grace. Thinking how Jesus hangs dying for sinners and like almost there being two ways to think as the thieves: one reflecting and requesting mercy and the other demanding. Mary has received God's Grace of mercy ahead of time to be the new Eve so she could hold in her Holy Tabernacle the New Covenant, the living breathing Word of God that engaged us in our humanity as the perfect chaste man and fully God. Our example of self giving. Humility gives our faith lungs. Mary received the Grace also to receive us as her spiritual children. "Behold your Mother."
As I turn down Normandy the sun shining over the great oaks in our little forest I drive closer and the sun beams through the trees. Truly Magnificent! The trees look like kindle. 
Two ways to think:
One of my daughters took her little sisters pink tricycle around the house and delivered envelopes and said we were invited to the ball a year or so ago. Than around Easter she came by on the little pink tricycle again this time with a clip board and drove up to each of us and not making eye contact said hot lunch and checked off a spot on the paper. It made me smile because she got a taste of the wonderful hot lunches at school on our "practice buying a hot lunch at school just in case we would want her to order one in the future" run and she never wanted to turn back to her room  temperature sandwich. We would find them left at home or on the floor of the car or in the back pack or in her locker or the floor of the cafeteria. Well later that day, I told the kids it was time to go to Mass, so we went and Mary asked to bring some paper and crayons I said ok. We arrived early and thought I would take a picture of the children in the Station of The Cross garden but Mary wanted to sit by Jesus at the last supper statue so the kids sat on the stools and as I get ready to take the picture Mary looks at Jesus and than to her paper and says hot lunch. :). Made me laugh out loud. 
Hot lunch. Made me think of the lukewarm comment Jesus said and how it is better to be hot or cold than to be lukewarm. 
Mary Our Mother has put us down for being on fire with The Lord :) . Come Oh Holy Spirit renew in our hearts...
