Young people 14-18 years old can win $1,000 for a cause by explaining how they positively impact Royal Oak.

Fourteen nationwide finalists will have their blog post published on Huff Post High School or Huff Post Impact. The grand prize winner will have $1,000 donated to the charity of his or her choice, plus a trip to New York for a special screening of the film Big Miracle with special host Arianna Huffington. Two runners-up can designate a charity of their choice that will receive $500 in their name.
