Letter to the Editor: Ginotti for Judge

Royal Oak attorney cites personal experience with Carlo Ginotti that set the candidate apart for 44th District Court.

The following letter was sent to Royal Oak Patch by Michael A. Flacki, a Royal Oak attorney:

I have practiced law in the State of Michigan continuously for 33 years. I have known and worked with attorney, Carlo Ginotti for the past 25 years, and I am a long time resident of Royal Oak.

In 1989, I met Mr. Ginotti when he was an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for the County of Oakland. Foremost on his agenda was the safety and welfare of our citizens. Mr. Ginotti protected the rights of crime victims and worked tirelessly in their behalf to ensure that justice was done.

In 1998, Carlo went into private practice and expanded his expertise in a variety of areas in the law. I have observed Mr. Ginotti in court on numerous occasions representing his clients zealously and with integrity.

At the present time, Mr. Ginotti is an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Michigan. I recall an egregious neglect/abuse matter in the Wayne County Juvenile Court. Carlo represented The Department of Human Services and I represented the father of the child.  The case sought the termination of the parental rights of an abusive mother.  Once again, Carlo brought his considerable wealth of experience to bear and the child’s best interests were made a priority.

Carlo Ginotti isn't only the best choice for District Judge, he is the only logical choice! He has a broad base of experience and an unparalleled sense of community. His dedication and record as a leading member of our great city is incontrovertible.

Please join me in electing Carlo Ginotti as our next District Judge for the City of Royal Oak.

Both Meineke and Ginotti will make good judges.

Who is Don Gionotti? Did you mean Carlo Ginotti? Good grief.

Ron Wolf, a few months ago you complained indignantly that Ginotti ignored you when you tried to talk to him about a park bench that needed fixing. You further implied that he would not get your vote. Now, all of a sudden, he's the best thing since chopped liver. What happened?
