We believe a vibrant and healthy region is dependent upon a strong court system that is focused on keeping individual communities safe. As Royal Oak sets out to replace Judge Daniel Sawicki following more than 30 years of exemplary service on the bench, Royal Oak faces an important decision on Tuesday, Nov. 6.
For more than a decade, we have witnessed Oakland County Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Derek Meinecke working on behalf of the most vulnerable victims in some of the most challenging cases. Derek is well-known in the legal community for his integrity, knowledge of the law and depth of experience. One quality that is absolutely essential to be successful as a judge is temperament and for these reasons we urge the voters of Royal Oak to consider voting for Derek Meinecke. With Derek Meinecke serving on the bench, Royal Oak can be confident that the 44th District Court will continue to be one of the most respected courts in Michigan and as a result we believe the greater community will be well served.
On Nov. 6, please consider casting your vote for Derek Meinecke for Royal Oak District Court Judge.
