Couple Taken into Custody after Struggle with Police and More

Couple taken into custody after struggle with police


2000 block of W. 14 Mile, Feb. 9, 1:39 a.m.: Officers responded to a report of a disorderly and intoxicated man refusing to leave the residence. As the officers approached the apartment the man attempted to close the door. Officers prevented the door from closing, entered the apartment and advised the man he was under arrest. The man refused to be placed under arrest and attempted to break free. While struggling with the suspect, a woman resident of the apartment pushed one of the officers from behind in an attempt to prevent them from arresting the man. After a brief struggle both subjects were taken into custody.

700 block of S. Washington, Feb. 9, 5 p.m. – 5:40 p.m.: A man parked his vehicle in the alley behind a business. When he returned he discovered someone stole it.

S. Main and Sixth Street, Feb. 7 - Feb. 8, 8 p.m. – 8 a.m.: A woman parked her vehicle in a parking lot near South Main and Sixth Street. When she returned to pick up her vehicle the next morning she discovered someone stole it.

Wallet, camera, silver necklace and more taken from car


200 S. Stephenson (Belle Tire), Feb. 7 – Feb. 8, 11 p.m. – noon: A man parked his vehicle in the business parking lot overnight. When he returned he discovered someone stole an mp3 player, wallet, backpack, silver necklace, prescription drugs and a camera from the interior.

Debit card stolen while woman move cars


3450 W. 13 Mile (Walton Woods), Feb. 12, 10:38 p.m.: A woman reported she left her debit card on a counter for a few minutes while she moved her car. When she returned she discovered someone stole her card.

Malicious Destruction of Property


Farnum and Maxwell, Feb. 10, 10:58 a.m.: A Royal Oak officer observed graffiti spray painted on the CN Railway overpass.

Webster and Glenview, Feb. 10, 10:43 a.m.: A Royal Oak officer observed graffiti spray painted on the CN Railway overpass. 14-4663

Normandy and Delemere, Feb. 10, 10:35 a.m.: A Royal Oak officer observed graffiti spray painted on an electrical box on the southwest corner of the intersection.

Fraudulent prescription


30852 Woodward (Walgreens), Feb. 7, 7:04 p.m.: Officers responded to Walgreens to investigate a man attempting to fill a fraudulent prescription for 90 tablets of Xanax. The suspect was located in the pharmacy waiting area where he was arrested without incident.

 

Motel guests have warrants for embezzlement, assault and battery and more

 

30776 Woodward (Sagamore Motel), Feb. 11, 5:09 p.m.: Officers conducted a motel check and located a person with an outstanding misdemeanor warrant for embezzlement. The subject was arrested without incident.

111 W. 12 Mile (City Motel), Feb. 11, 6:26 a.m.: Officers conducted a motel check and located a man with outstanding felony warrants for receiving and concealing stolen property and larceny from an automobile. He also had a misdemeanor warrant for driving while license suspended. The man was arrested without incident.

28300 Woodward (Seville Motel), Feb. 11, 2:13 a.m.: Officers conducted a motel check and located a person with an outstanding warrant for assault and battery. The subject was arrested without incident.
