Royal Oak police are looking for three men accused of restraining two employees and a customer during a robbery Wednesday evening at the RadioShack, 29160 Woodward Ave.

The three men, one of them armed with a handgun, moved them into a storage room, placed duct tape over their eyes and taped their hands behind their backs, police said in a news release.

Police said the suspects stole an undisclosed amount of money and about 50 cell phones before fleeing. An employee called 9:11 at 6:33 p.m.

The employee described the suspects as three black males wearing baseball caps, hoodies, and nylons over their faces.

A Troy Police Department K-9 officer responded to the scene to assist with the investigation. The track led to the area of Benjamin and Woodward mwhere it is believed they entered a vehicle and left the area.

Anyone with information about this incident or the identity of the suspects involved should call Royal Oak Police Lieutenant David Clemens at (248) 246-3456.

Drop a dime I.c, you never know. I did once after hearing information second hand and it went down in three days, no thank you but I had the satisfaction that I did the right thing. You would think a Radio Shack would have had hidden cameras all over. Any business on or near Woodward dealing in small electronics, watches or jewelry that is not prepared in the camera department is just asking for trouble.
