Police Blotter: Suicide Attempt at Gun Range, Fight at KFC

Highlights from Royal Oak Police Department reports from the past week:

Motel lodger arrested

825 E. 11 Mile (Royal Motor Inn), Jan. 17: Royal Oak officers located a subject at the motel with two outstanding felony warrants. The subject was arrested without incident.

Suicide attempt at gun range 

30482 Woodward Avenue (Target Sports), Jan. 17: Officers responded to an attempted suicide on the gun range. The individual was transported to William Beaumont Hospital for treatment.

Fight breaks out at KFC

1805 E. 11 Mile, (Kentucky Fried Chicken), Jan. 18: Royal Oak officers responded to a fight call at the restaurant resulting from a dispute between employees. Three subjects were arrested for assault and battery and one subject was arrested for felonious assault.

Purse, jewelry, iPad and more stolen

1815 N. Main (Luna Bar), Jan. 21: A woman reported someone stole her purse from the bar.

3100 block of Linwood, Jan. 18: A woman reported someone entered her residence and stole jewelry.

4100 block of W. 13 Mile, Jan. 24: A man reported his iPad was stolen by an acquaintance from his apartment.

1440 block of N. Blair, Jan. 23: A man reported a family member stole his prescription medications.

Car stolen

3200 block of Ferris, Jan. 18: A woman reported someone stole her Honda Scooter. 

Items taken from cars

100 block of W. 11 Mile, Jan. 21: A man reported someone stole the license plate off of his 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix.

Wooden fence damaged

3500 block of Crooks, Jan. 17: A wooden fence was damaged by a vehicle.
