Police Blotter: Juvenile Exposes Himself on Beaumont Elevator, Thefts and More

Highlights from Royal Oak Police reports for the week of May 10-17:

Juvenile exposes himself on elevator

  • , 3601 W. 13 Mile, May 13: Royal Oak officers responded to Beaumont Hospital on the report that security was holding a juvenile who was exposing himself to visitors in the elevator. The juvenile was taken into custody and turned over to his parents.

Bikes, trimmers stolen

  • 100 block of South Edgeworth, May 14: A woman reported someone stole her bicycle out of her garage.
  • Coolidge and Albert, May 15: A man reported someone stole three lawn trimmers from his landscaping trailer while it was parked on the corner.
  • 600 block of East 11 Mile, May 15: A man reported someone stole his bicycle from in front of his residence.
  • Main and 11 Mile, May 16: A woman reported someone stole her bicycle while it was locked in a bike rack.

GPS, license plate, catalytic converters taken from cars

  • 500 block of South Kenwood, May 16: A woman reported someone smashed the passenger window of her vehicle and stole the in-dash GPS system.
  • 400 block of South Edison, May 16: A man reported someone entered his unlocked vehicle and stole the in-dash GPS system.
  • 2000 block of Bellaire, May 12: A woman reported someone stole the license plate off of her vehicle.
  • 1900 block of Ridge Court, May 12: A woman reported someone stole the catalytic converter from her vehicle.

Property damage

  • 500 block of West Lincoln, May 11: A woman reported someone knocked her lamp post over and broke it.
  • 100 block of Tiffany Lane, May 13: A man reported someone broke the driver’s side window and attempted to pry the in-dash GPS system from his vehicle. The dashboard of the vehicle was damaged but the GPS system was still intact.
  • 2400 block of Rowland, May 14: A woman reported someone wrote on her car with a permanent marker.
  • 200 block of South Pleasant, May 14: A man reported someone broke the rear window of his vehicle.
  • 300 block of West Lincoln, May 15: Someone spray-painted graffiti on the side of the building.
  • 300 South Lafayette, May 15: Someone spray-painted graffiti on the walls of the parking structure.
  • 1400 block of North Altadena, May 15: A man reported someone damaged his door handle and lock on the driver’s side door to his vehicle.
