Royal Oak police released a photo of a suspect who robbed the Charter One Bank at 200 S. Main St. earlier this week.
On Tuesday, the man in the photo entered the bank, armed with a handgun and demanded money from the teller, according to a police statement. He fled on foot after receiving the cash.
The suspect is described as a male, between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 11 inches. He was wearing a black winter hat, black ski mask, a black winter jacket, tight fitting stretch pants and athletic shoes.
Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Royal Oak Police at 248-246-3500.
This is the second burglary in Royal Oak in the past month. The suspect in the photo also matches the description of the individual who robbed the PNC Bank at 225 S. Main on Dec. 26.
