REPLAY: Royal Oak Safe Neighborhoods Community Dialogue

Residents asked questions and shared concerns with public safety officials on how to keep the community safe at Royal Oak Middle School on Wednesday. Check out the live transcript.

About 200 members of the community attended the firstat  on Wednesday evening to listen, learn and ask questions of public safety officials and community leaders.

Royal Oak's Crime Prevention Council orchestrated the event. , a self-described “communicator,” was a leader in bringing together the panelists for the evening, which included Police Chief Corrigan O’Donohue, Oakland County Prosecutor Jessica Cooper, Sheriff Michael Bouchard and others, to give citizens information and resources to take an active role in crime prevention. Fox 2 anchor and reporter Ron Savage was the moderator.
