Royal Oak Cops 'Kick Some Butt' Saturday Night

Royal Oak police gave Royal Oak firefighters some heat at a charity hockey game at Lindell Ice Arena Saturday night.

The Royal Oak Police Department had an appetite for destruction Saturday night, stopping the Royal Oak Fire Department cold at the Third Annual Guns & Hoses Charity Hockey Game at Lindell Ice Arena.

"The police are really kicking some butt tonight," said Sharlan Douglas of Royal Oak, of the cops' 6-1 victory over the firefighters.

The annual friendly rivalry drew a large crowd and raised money for Muscular Dystrophy Association.
