Royal Oak Family Thanks Neighbors for Support after Fire
Dmitriy Smetanin appreciates his Woodslee neighbors for their concern after a fire badly damaged his family home Sunday.
were called to the scene of a house fire in the 2800 block of Woodslee on Sunday afternoon after live power lines fell on the home of Sergey Smetanin.
This morning, Smentanin and his son Dmitriy The Smentanins asked Patch to share their message of thanks to all of the neighbors who approached the family offering support.
Dmitriy Smentanin was visibly moved by the outpouring of compassion.

"I talked to neighbors (on Sunday) I didn't know I had," he said.
