Highlights from Royal Oak Police Department reports from the past week:

Thieves target homes, businesses

3200 block of N. Altadena, April 13: A resident reported someone attempted to break into the home. The person damaged the side door but did not gain entry.

3600 block of Woodland, April 13: A resident reported someone entered the residence and stole a flat screen television and an air conditioning unit out of the garage.

100 block of E. Fourth Street, April 11: A man reported someone stole an air compressor out of his unlocked garage.

1800 W. 14 Mile (Penn’s Thai Kitchen), April 17: Staff reported someone broke out the glass door of the business and stole an undisclosed amount of currency and a 32-inch flat screen television.

1411 E. 11 Mile (Subway), April 14: Staff reported someone broke out the glass door of the business. Nothing was taken from the business.

Laptop, Xbox and more taken from vehicles

25352 Woodward ( LA Fitness), April 13: A woman reported someone broke out the driver side window of her vehicle and stole a Mac laptop computer and Coach duffle bag.

500 block of Woodside, April 17: A man reported someone entered his vehicle and stole a power inverter, toolbox, miscellaneous tools, Xbox 360, Xbox games, DVD player, 29-inch Hitachi television, Miscellaneous DVDs, JVC Camcorder and a Canon digital camera.

100 block of Gardenia, April 16: A woman reported someone stole a Mac Air 2010 laptop computer and some clothing out of her vehicle.

Bowling shoes, iPhone stolen

600 block of S. Laurel , April 17: A man reported someone stole his prescription medication out of his room.

4209 Coolidge (Bowlero Lanes), April 16: Staff reported a customer stole a pair of bowling shoes.

222 S. Sherman (Goodnite Gracies), April 15: A woman reported someone stole her iPhone while she was at the restaurant.

Donation box taken

124 W. Fourth Street (Noir Leather), April 12: Royal Oak Police Officers responded to a larceny that just occurred at the business. A man entered the business, grabbed a donation box with an undisclosed amount of currency in it, and fled from the scene. Royal Oak Officers located the man and arrested him.

Graffiti, damaged lawn ornaments

100 E. Fourth Street (Graphics Factory), April 13: Staff reported someone spray painted graffiti on the door of the business. 

408 S. Lafayette (Fitness Unlimited), April 13: Staff reported someone spray painted graffiti on the doors of the business.

800 block of Hoffman, April 15: A woman reported someone damaged her lawn ornaments.
