Thieves Target iPad, Expensive Furs, Jewelry and...Chainsaw?

Highlights from Royal Oak Police Department reports from the past week:
iPad taken from unlocked vehicle
2600 block of W. 14 Mile, Sept. 3: A woman reported someone stole her iPad from her unlocked vehicle.
Expensive furs, jewelry taken
100 block of W. Kenilworth, Sept. 8: A woman reported someone entered her locked home and stole large amount of expensive furs, jewelry and clothes.

Chainsaw thief charged with larceny
700 block of S. Alexander, Sept. 8: A man reported observing someone steal a chainsaw from his front yard. Royal Oak officers, responded to the scene, developed a suspect and canvassed the area. The person was located and arrested for larceny.
Impala stolen off car dealer’s lot
2000 E. 12 Mile (Matthew Hargreaves), Sept. 9: A business reported someone stole a 2012 black Chevrolet Impala from the lot.

Acts of vandalism
200 Virginia, Sept. 6: Someone spray painted graffiti on a brick wall at the east end of the apartment complex.
30991 Woodward (Kroger), Sept. 7: A man reported someone keyed his parked vehicle.
3300 block of Harvard, Sept. 8: A woman reported someone keyed her vehicle.
3200 block of Coolidge, Sept. 5: A man reported someone keyed his vehicle.
