Weekend Countdown: Veteran's Day Memorial

Honor veterans with memorial service.

Take some time to honor those who served our country on Veteran's Day this weekend.

When: 11 a.m. Friday
Where: Veteran's Memorial Plaza, between the City of Royal Oak City Hall and the
Cost: Free
Why go: The Ninth Kentucky Infantry will honor veterans with a rifle salute and the will lead the march to the monument. Members of the , American Legion, Frank Wendland Post, Royal Canadian Legion, Eagles, Elks, Royal Oak police and , Daughters of American Revolution, Three Flags & Ezra Parker Chapters, Memorial Society and the city of Royal Oak will present wreaths. students will play Taps.
