5 Things to Know this Week: DDA considers DMC, ROHS Open House and More

  1. City Commission work session Monday: The commission meets at 6 p.m. Monday in Room 309 at to discuss the Fire Operations Analysis and Data Analysis Report prepared by the International City/County Management Association, a nonprofit public safety consultant.
  2. Woodward 5 Sustainability Partnership Open House on Tuesday: Residents and business owners of the Woodward 5 communities (Royal Oak, Ferndale, Berkley, Pleasant Ridge and Huntington Woods) are invited to attend this public forum. Come share your ideas about making Royal Oak sustainable. This public forum is facilitated by Oakland County Planning & Economic Development Services. The event will be hosted at the city of Pleasant Ridge Community Center at 4 Ridge Rd. from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
  3. Downtown Development Authority meets Thursday: The DDA meeting starts at 4 p.m. at . The purchase and development agreement for the will be discussed. Click here for the agenda.
  4. Royal Oak High School Open House on Thursday: All members of the community are invited to stop by to meet teachers, take campus tours and learn about the curriculum, extracurricular activities and clubs. The event runs 6:30-7:30 p.m.
  5. Rabies Vaccination Clinic on Saturday: The will be hosting the annual Rabies Vaccination Clinic at the from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Bring in your dog or cat for a rabies vaccination administered by a licensed veterinarian for only $5 and get a license for your dog with no delinquent penalty fee.
