It works my fanny! I had unregistered solicitors knock on my foor twice after dark this week! One at 06:30 pm and one just after 7pm. I asked them if they knew about having to have a permit to solicit and they said no, and moved on to the neighbor's house. Did I call the police. No. I figured that this would be such a low priority for the police that the solicitors would be long gone by the time they responded. Pasternak, how could the new ordinance already be working if no one was able to register til today, and no solicitors have been issued lists yet?

The three worst offenders are still exempt. Can we at least put in a provision to keep the clean water act people from knocking?
