Wondering about the Block Grant Public Hearing—Notice of hearing ran in the Tribune—How many people even get the Tribune?—Why not run the notice in the RO Review which is delivered FREE to every home—Curious as to WHY the Orson Starr House and the Fire House Museum were both denied Block Grant funding—Curious as to WHY with such a large sum of Block Grant Funds $2,126,313 total –Why did the city recommend only a measly $22,000 be allocated to make improvements at only 1 of our parks? Also Agenda Item #8—The MASSIVE expansion to Hamlin’s Corner—another bar/another dance floor—This entire block with Emagine Theater is already grossly under-parked—cars are backed-up on to 11 mile regularly--Where exactly are these additional people supposed to park??? **Oh –that’s right –the City is preparing to ask residents to approve a very “special” road maintenance millage to repair our neighborhood streets—Guess the City’s plan is to have freshly paved neighborhoods to use as over-flow parking lots for the downtown bars--
