Letter to the Editor: Ginotti for Judge

Former Royal Oak Commissioner endorses Carlo Ginotti for 44th District Court.

The following letter was sent to Royal Oak Patch by Tom Hallock, a former Royal Oak City Commissioner:

I strongly endorse Carlo Ginotti for the 44th District Court Judge to voters.

Carlo's experience is not narrow, it is broad based and lengthy. He has had considerable experience both in the private legal sector and as a special prosecutor for the Oakland County Prosecutor's office.

Royal Oak has trusted Carlo Ginotti before, electing him twice as a City Commissioner to help run the entire city. Having served with Carlo on the City Commission, I can attest that he was very thorough in preparing for meetings and asked the questions that needed to be asked.

Anyone who runs for office is automatically a politician, despite any protests to the contrary. All candidates strive to get endorsements from various sources.

In these days of endless political infighting, isn't it nice to find that Carlo Ginotti is a candidate for the 44th District Court that is supported by those he has served with from both sides of the aisle?

That is the best endorsement there is.

Former Royal Oak City Commissioner
