In my spare time I am a personal finance coach helping more than 150 local families get back on track financially, and with a career in the IT/Software field I understand how modern, cost cutting technology could impact our state.
FOCUSED ON YOU
I care about the families of our community and will vote based on their needs, and not the needs of special interest groups.
DEEP ROOTS
As a third generation district homeowner and lifelong resident of the community my wife Allison and I are proud to be raising our children just blocks from where my father grew up.
Why I decided to run:
The choice to run for a public office is a difficult one and as such you need a very big “WHY’ to go forward with it. For the prototypical politician this “why” might have to do with a political career, a desire to join the political elite, or a future career as a lobbyist. For me, I’m running because I believe that we deserve a representative who has “walked the walk” and truly knows the community they’re casting votes to represent. As a 3rd generation lifelong resident I understand the concerns of our citizens because they are my concerns too. Unlike “drive-by” politicians looking forward to their next office I’m focused solely on you and your family.
When my grandparents moved into this community more than 50 years ago they knew that what made it great was the people who live here, work here, and raise their families here. I know that too and I also know that when I’m casting votes that impact our schools, businesses, and citizens I’ll be able to draw from my personal experiences instead of being influenced by special interest groups and political big-wigs. Who better to cast a vote on our schools then someone who attended them?
Top 3 Priorities
If elected, my priorities will be making Michigan more competitive in the global economy and giving small business owners the support necessary for them to succeed. Also, I will focus on innovating our education system with new technology and I'll work to give parents the information they need to be a true partner in their child’s education. Finally, I'd like to focus on improving our foster care system and reducing the time that our children must wait before finding their “forever families.”
