Oakland County Commissioners Take Oath of Office

Incumbents Mike Bosnic, Dave Woodward and Gary McGillivray represent Royal Oak.

It didn't have the pomp and circumstance of the presidential inauguration, but the Oakland County Commissioners recently also took the oaths of office in a smaller ceremony to start 2013.

Incumbents Mike Bosnic, Dave Woodward and Gary McGillivray were re-elected in November to represent Royal Oak in the 16th, 19th and 20th Districts, respectively.

After taking the official oath Jan. 9, Commissioner Shelley Goodman Taub, R-District 12, was named Oakland County Board of Commissioners Caucus Republican Chairperson. Her district includes Bloomfield Township, Bloomfield Hills, and Birmingham.
