Royal Oak Parcels Included in County Tax Forfeit Auction Tuesday

Six residences and one vacant parcel in Royal Oak will be among the properties auctioned.

Seven local properties will go on sale at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the Oakland County Board of Commissioners Auditorium, 1200 N. Telegraph in Pontiac.

All properties are being foreclosed in their third year of delinquent property taxes.

In order to bid, you must register with the county treasurer's office, which can be done the day of the auction. In addition, it's the bidder's responsibility to learn from the in which the property is located whether it is slated for demolition, has environmental damage, is obligated with special assessments or has other issues.

  • 4015 Parkway Dr. — minimum bid: $12,646.88
  • 4015 Yorba Linda Blvd. — minimum bid: $25,304.25
  • 3251 Prairie Ave. — minimum bid: $7,936.48
  • 401 N. Gainsborough Ave. — minimum bid: $15,715.17
  • 1719 E. 10 Mile Rd. — minimum bid: $14,619.52
  • 3114 Harvard Rd. — minimum bid: $12,355.52
  • 802 Mount Vernon Blvd. — minimum bid: $31,718.56
