Sewers and sewage disposal ordinance amendmentThe Royal Oak City Commission will consider passing an amendment to the sewers and sewage disposal ordinance that would make property owners responsible for the service lead from his or her property to the public sewer.
Failure to maintain a sewer service lead that results in damage to city property, such as streets or sidewalks, would be punishable by a fine of up to $500 and/or up to 90 days in jail.
Rezoning of former Burger King site
The Royal Oak City Commission will consider a conditional rezoning that will allow a self-storage facility on Woodward Avenue near the Interstate 696 gateway area.
